Intrinsically Disordered Protein (IDP)

IDP is a protein which natively does not take any steric structures.

Functions of proteins in a cell originate from the steric structures of the proteins.
However IDP plays a function, despite IDP's nature.
The mechanism of IDP's function is not well understood.
