Top > Thermodynamics of protein folding and structure of the free energy landscape protein folding and structure of free energy landscape
Proteins natively take a specific structure (native structure) and thereby function in living-cells.
The structure forming has been explained based on the energy landscape picture without frustration (funnel-shaped landscape).
We attempt to extend the energy landscape picture with weak frustration and examine the effect of the frustration.
