Active matter
Active matter is a matter with motility driven by its active stress[1].
As an example, collective cell migration mensioned below is important[2].
Collective cell migration
In various biologycal phenomena including development, wound healing and immune response, cells exhibit a collective migration[2].
The control mechanism of the migrtion is not sufficiently known.
The collective migration is possible to be reproduced by a Potts model[3].
I attempt to application of this method to various biological systems.
Cell as a material
Recently, the properties of cells are intensively investigated for some industrical and medical applications[4].
